Create, edit, close, clone and delete projects

Scopes can be created, edited, cloned and deleted. This page will guide you through these steps.


Create a project
  1. Click on the Projects button located on the header bar.
  2. Click Add project button.
  3. Give the project a Name. Optionally, it is possible to write a Description and select a Start and a Due date, as well as giving the project a Tag which can later be used for filtering inside a Projects table widget, for example;
  4. Click on the Add button.

Editing a project
  1. Click on the Projects button located on the header bar.
  2. Access the project you would like to Edit. Alternatively you can simply select the project and click straight on the Edit button in the Project Grid header (in this case skip steps 3 and 4)
  3. Click the name of the project in the sidebar.
  4. Click on the button > Edit.
  5. Change the Name, Description, Start date, Due date, Tags or Status.
  6. Click on the Edit button.

Closing a project
  1. Click on the Projects button located on the header bar.
  2. Access the project you would like to Edit.
  3. Click the name of the project in the sidebar.
  4. Click on the Active button on the right side.
  5. Select the Close button.

    Changed your mind?

    You can re-open the project at any time, by following the same steps and clicking on the Reactivate button.

    Cannot find the project anymore?

    You can view all your Closed projects, by going to the Projects landing page and remove the Active projects Filter.

Cloning a project
  1. Click on the Projects button located on the header bar.
  2. Select project you would like to Clone.
  3. Press the Clone project button in the Project Grid header.
  4. By default, the Name, Description, Start date, Due date, Tags, and Status fields will be filled based on the cloned project. Of course, those can be edited.

  5. Click the Clone button.

    Taking too long?

    Based on the size of the project, the cloning action might take some time. Make sure you refresh the Projects page.

    Alternative

    You can clone also by accessing the Project itself, clicking on the button and selecting Clone.

Deleting a project
  1. Click on the Projects button located on the header bar.
  2. Select project you would like to Delete.
  3. Press the Delete button in the Project Grid header.
  4. Reconfirm your decision by clicking again the Delete button.

    Important information?

    This action is irreversible. If the Project is completed but you do not want to lose the information it contains, then consider the Closing option.

    Alternative

    You can delete also by accessing the Project itself, clicking on the button and selecting Delete.
